Oysters Rockefeller was born at Antoine’s in New Orleans in 1899 — fresh oysters on the half shell topped with a rich, herby butter mixture of spinach, herbs, and breadcrumbs, then broiled until bubbling. It’s named for the richest man in America, and it still tastes like a fortune.
