Sweet from the sugarbush

A glossy maple-mustard glaze turns weeknight salmon into something special — caramelized edges, tender flakes, five minutes of prep.

Step by stepInstructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Whisk the maple syrup, mustard, soy sauce, and garlic in a small bowl.
  3. Pat the salmon dry, season with salt and pepper, and brush with olive oil.
  4. Place skin-side down on the sheet and brush generously with the glaze.
  5. Roast 12-14 minutes, brushing once more halfway, until the glaze is caramelized and the salmon flakes easily. Garnish with chives.

💡 Chef tips & storage

Brush on the glaze in layers and don't overbake — salmon is done at 125-130°F in the center. The glaze also works beautifully on chicken.
