Juicy butter burger with a melting pat of butter on the patty

A juicy beef patty topped with a pat of melting butter and served on a soft, toasted bun.

Soltice-style indulgence

A burger with a slab of butter melted right on top — Wisconsin’s answer to ‘more dairy, please.’ Rich, juicy, unforgettable.

Step by stepInstructions

  1. Divide the beef into 4 patties and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat a cast-iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the patties 3-4 minutes per side for medium.
  4. Place a pat of butter on each patty in the last minute, letting it melt into the meat.
  5. Toast the buns in the drippings, then build the burgers and serve immediately.

💡 Chef tips & storage

Add the butter at the very end so it melts into the hot patty instead of burning. Serve right away — the melted butter is the whole point.
